Default tire rub

I have a 2008 ram 3500 4x4. I recently installed bfgAT 315's. The ride great but they rub the inside arm whenI turn sharp both ways. My local tire shop said a leveling kit would not solve the problem b/c the rub was on the inside. He wasn't sure it they made a "spacer" for my truck. He didn't think it would need a very big spacer. I don't know anything about spacers. Does anyone know if they make spacers for my truck (std 17 inch wheels)? If so, what brand and size spacer do you recommend. Will the spacer have any negative impact on ride, braking or performance? Also, I don't want the tires to flare or stick out very far.
Your input is greatly appreciated.
