A/C problems
I have a 2006 3500 dually cimmins, Has anyone experianced the problem of the ac blowing 20 degrees warmer on passenger side when ac is set to dash panel but when set to recurculate both sides run a cool 42 degrees? My dealer has run all the tests possible except to pull dash which they seem to not wantto do and just told me to leave it on recirculate which I this is a lame answer from a dodge service manager, HELP[:@]
Hey Joe, I had the same problem with my 06 4x4 Hemi QC. After 3 different trip to the dealer we finally got it fixed correctly. The blend door has a weak hinge which causes the door to break off and fall into the fan cavern. They fixed the door but I had warm air on passenger side and cold air on the drivers side! The ricirculater door had to be calibrated with the blend door to make sure you have the proper airflow. My a/c also sounded like a freight train with very little air coming out! If you are still under warranty get this fixed fast because it is a very expensive ordeal to come out of your pocket! I also have a friend with an 06 2500 Hemi 4x4 who took the dash apart on his truck and adjusted his doors by sound and feel of the air flow. But I still have a warranty and didnt want to mess with the dash board. Hope this helps you out?
