Default After Market Cruise Control?

I recently purchased a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi 4x4...I love my 'new to me' truck, but it has minimal interior options and I am wondeirng if anyone has installed an aftermarket cruise control in their truck? I am looking brand suggestions and and pros/cons...

Thanks!

I'd probably recommend checking the dealer to see if they can simply install one. I don't know if I would trust a one-size-fits-most aftermarket cruise control. I did a quick search and found OEM kits for the 04 4.7L, but not the HEMI. The kit looked like just the control buttons, so maybe the harness is already there and all you need is the buttons and possibly a scan tool to turn it on. Parts/Service would know if he is around.

I seem to remember seeing a factory retrofit kit, like the foglights.

yea aftermarket ones are scary. they are totally mechanical not electrical. ie it's the same as puttin a brick on the gas. we had those at cc before but they were just a pita and no one ever wanted to install one. because god forbid something bad did happen andit came back on you.
