Since my truck didn't come with front tow hooks, and it's most important functions are my hunting trips (where they are handy, sometimes necessary) I would like to add a pair. I can get factory jobs from e-bay for ~$100, but I'm not crazy about the factory design. Has anyone seen any after market bolt-ons available? If I get the factory units, it looks like a front bumper dismount to get them on, must be an easier way........

 

I agree I dont like the bar look of the factory. I was wondering the same thing or if the Mopar style off the 2500 or 3500 would fit on our 1500's?

I am wondering the same thing. I would much rather use the (2) 2500/3500 hooks than the single bar style 1500 "hooks".

 

me three! I would hate to take my bunper off! And I like the 2500/3500 style

 

I might have to just try it myself and find out. I looked at some 2500's on the lot and it looks like it would work, but its hard to tell without having them off the truck.
