Default HELP, HELP, HELP!!!

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500SLT 4x4. Was out all day Saturday truck drove around with no problems. Got up Sunday morning, started truck up put in reverse, transmission shifted into reverse but truck will not move!!!! Put truck into drive, no problems drives and shifts as should. Place the truck in reverse, tranmission shifts into reverse but truck will not move. I tried the built in code reader, and it shows no problem codes for transmission or rear end. I could use some advice on this one. This is my only vehicle. HELP!!!!!!

Thanks, but I had already checked the fluid level. Right where it should be.

Did you check it the right way?? Engine warmed up? Cycle thru the gears? left in neutral with parking brake on? I know it sounds like a dumb question....

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ What they said, plus How many miles? It should be on its third load of tranny fluid by now, probably.

Some of the trannys are electronic controled. There may be something going on with the controler. Also unless you have over 70,000 miles that would be covered under the powertrain warrenty which is 7 years or 70,000 miles.

Checked the tranny fluid the right way. Truck has 79,000 miles. It is definately not a fluid issue.
