Looks good. I never liked the Cab lights, but the smoked look is great! Yeah, I am trying to save up for the tow mirrors...

Looks good. Were you nervous about drilling holes in the roof?

to be honest, not at all! i thought i was going to be, but then i just whipped out the drill, checked my marks one more time and just drilled away! only had 1 mistake. on my 4th light i went to drill my screw hole and as i went in the drill slipped and left a nice 1/2" drill line. all it did was remove the paint, and its hidden under the light so its all good. the washers that came with it suck. i had to ditch those this morning after i realized 3 of my lights have condensation in them. no water getting in the cab, but where the lens hits the base wasnt completly tight due to me not tightening them down all the way because i wanted the washer to stay on. but i re-goop'ed and got rid of washers, i tightened them down good and now the lens seems to be tight....hopefully some of the condensation will come out on its own. but its nothing major and its not like people get that close to your roof.

I'd love to install those lights on my truck. Did the instructions that came with the lights suffice or not? I noticed you thanked a coupla folks. Think you might whip up a "do it yourself" guide for the rest of us so we can take advantage of your experience?

MM: I get a little condensation in two of mine also, nothing major and no leaks after about 13 or 14 months. I figured the way you were histerical about having to wire to the fuse box, you were gonna be a scared biotch when it came to drilling the roof.

Sarge:You should be able to find an excellent DIY in that section that was done by RedRam...

ya use redrams diy. its just about perfect! read it over and recon sends you a printed copy of redrams diy to use when your actually doing it. just be confident and fully understand what your doing.

i wasnt really histerical hahah. im not the best with electrical stuff like that, and i was like im gonna have everything wired up and drilled, ready to go....and no power going to them haha. but im getting the hang of electrical stuff more now so i should be good. i just didnt want to wire more lights to my running light on my headlight since i already have extra stuff to it. my headlights have 6 leads and 2 halos already running off it. i didnt want to add another 15 LEDs haha, even if they dsont use that much power!

after i put smoked roof lights on mine, my dad wants them too. but doing his will be nice since its just the lens being replaced and not the whole thing.

Your truck looks really nice. I'm sure most people will assume it's a 2500 now, with the height, lights, and being debadged.

I'm 50/50 on wanting cab lights. When they come on the other trucks, is it due to their height or width? If there's a half inch from my truck being "required" to have them, I don't think it'd be ricer-ish to add them myself.

Now I've got to get some headlights like yours. I think I'd like the way they look and having separate high and low beams.

Hey MMSTAR

Looks really good, is that a 4x2 QC? If so what was the lift you used on it and the wheel/tire size. I'm looking to do that to mine when I get back.
