I have the Cortex and I have to say no for one simple reason. They dont have the MDS delete update for it. I have e-mailed the support team and never recieved a response. Its been almost a month since they told me on the phone that it would be out within a few days. Im calling them again tomorrow. I will probably eat my Cortex and buy a Predator if they cant keep up with their competition.

well, the mds is one thing I don't need to worry about thankfully. Are there any benefits at all of owning the cortex over the Flashpaq?

The only major difference between the two is that the flashpaq 3815 can only be used on the Dodge Ram where the Cortex can be used on many different models of Chrysler products. So if you are only planning on using it on a Ram, then go with the flashpaq. Other than that I believe the Cortex has a bigger display, but nothing really major.

yea if that is the only difference then I guess the Cortex really isn't worth that extra money. I assumed for the extra price they would include some more performance extras considering how much they rave about it.

the flashpaq seems to have better hp/tq gains also. like you have all said teh only real difference is the fact you can use it on other cars if you get rid of teh truck or unlock it and use it on other cars you may have. not worth the extra $$$ if you ask me. unless you happen to have 2 chrysler/dodge vehicles.
