I appreciate that. I have to admit that I have seen a few others on this forum that make me want to get another one to put a lift kit and big meats on. I wish like hell Dodge would put a 5 or 6 speed tranny behind the 5.7 HEMI! I'd be starting all over!

Rumor has it that the manual tranny 6.1 HEMI Challengers will be arriving next year...

 

don't sell yourself short pegasus, that's a sexy lookin truck. made for a different purpose than what most of us aim for, but excellent execution nonetheless.

from the last thing I heard, TOTM is down for now until forum gets repaired. then they will have more contests faster to make up for lost time.

i wouldn't want more than one 3rdgen in the running at once, cuz then we'll be voting all against each other. i say we nominate in this order:
dodgenitto great setup, great sound, and you use it like it should be used
epegasus again, fantastic execution, it just looks so damn clean
dickenflicka great mods. only thing keeping you from the top of this list is no crazy off road pics, looks like an off-roadable show truck... but a damn good looking one

I think that is a great idea to only nominate one from 3rd gen at a time so we don't have to vote against one another! They are all great trucks in there own way! When the polls are back up and running that is exactly what we should do! If you are not nominated this month then there are many to follow! No worries here!

I will say this in my defense. A 4x2 regular cab short wheelbase truck isn't exactly intended for rock crawling. My truck hauls a half ton of track day stuff (sportbike, pull-behind trailer, tents, racing gear, generator, etc.) I also haul my photography gear (generator, studio lights props etc) when I shoot on location. Just don't need all of that suspension and grippy dirt tires on a strictly road truck. They weren't all meant for off-road
