What nerf bars to get?
Hey guys, I'm looking in eBay, andI think I’m going to order some nerf bars, butI need some help... I want to get some for my QC, and I see tons of them for less than $230, so I think that is my highest price $230. What brands are good? I saw some that don't have a brand name, does anyone have those, and are they good? What do you guys suggest I get? I want some that are made in USA for sure. I also was wondering ... should I go chrome, Or Black chrome? What looks better? What's more durable?

Westins are a good brand and you can usually find them pretty cheap if you look around. But if you can't find a cheap set and continue shopping around, just make sure that you get stainless tubes. Doesn't matter if they are coated or chrome, as long as they will withstand the weather and not rust or bend easily on you.

I agree, forget chromed steel. Make sure you get polished stainless, or chromed stainless (Westin CPS).
Personally, I've owned two sets of Back Country Stainless bars, but they are more than $230. Back Country also makes black bars, but I don't recall their pricing.
Also, I just did some searching and, depending on your climate (winters, road salt, etc) if you want black bars, I'd go with black powdercoated stainless barsversus black powdercoated mild steel.
I found a decent site that sells, either, with free shipping - http://www.trick-truck-toys.com/

The oval straights help to keep more rocks from kicking up. The wrap in bars let a few more fly by.
On the stainless steel topic. If that is important to you due to climate make sure you not only get SS bars, but make sure the mounting hardware is SS as well. Nasta bars have all SS components.
