Default Changed Batt, now truck won't idle.

Hi, new to the forums and have a question.

I have 03 4.7L Ram and I have a problem.
Yesterday, I changed my battery from the stock batt to a Kinetik HC2000 (car audio batt).

Now the truck will crank and run fine, but the idle speed is so low that it dies from time to time.
Could it be that the computer simply reset the idle?

I so, how can I fix this problem?

Thanks

The fuel trims wouldv'e been reset if the battery was disconnected/dead for awhile...but the idle shouldn't have changed because it is pre-set in the tune and doesn't "learn" like the fuel trims do.

Did you mess with the throttle body at all when you were troubleshooting your car?

You more than likely need to reset your TPS

A search here should have a write-up on it. If not I suppose I could type it out.

Try this..... may or may not solve your problem.... Pull the PCM fuse... and then turn the key to start... and hold it.. if your engine turn you did'nt pull the right fuse... hold the key till you hear it "ding" twice... replace the fuse and then start the truck.. this should reset your computer and everything should be back to normal.... well.. one can hope anyways...
