Hi y'all. I recently got into an '06 Ram 6 speed manual w/ 3.7L V6. I've been looking at getting a few "bolt-on" type mods to put on. I'm not looking to try to turn it into a racer as I know that I can't get a whole lot out of the V6...but I'd like to at least get a few more horses without sacrificing fuel mileage. I'm currently looking at the following mods...tell me what you think:

Jet Chip Stage 1 Module
Ebay Full CAI w/K&N filter (as found on this forum)
Either Magnaflow...or a Flowmaster 40/50 series (i'm soooo confused on this one!) what do you think is best? I don't want it to be real loud and especially not "ricy" but would like a nice "growl" to it. Edit: Leaning towards the 50 series SUV performance per Dericksmash's advice...

Bosch Platinum 4+ Spark Plugs
JBA Stainless Steel Headers

What do you think of that so far? Like I said, I'm not going to be taking it down to the drag strip or anything...but would like some performance increases. Thanks for your help!!

Edit: Just out of curiosity, how much would it cost to re-gear to say a 4:10 ratio?

 

I had the 40 series on my old v6 ford....it sounded good dumped but not as good when i had it out of the back
