I have an 07 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi with MDS. Every so often the check engine light comes on. I will take it to the dealer to be checked and they say it is a historical code of low engine oil. This has happend probably 2 or 3 dozen times in 15 months. I have followed when it comes on and it is usually after prolonged use on only 4 cylinders. Has anyone else had this issue? Is it a problem I should be concerned with? I have taken it in to 3 different dealers and all give me the same don't worry about it speach. Now, I just let it come on and after driving around a while, it goes off on its own. Any help is appreciated.

 

your dealer is being dumb. there is a flash available that will keep it from coming up..someone here has a TSB # for it, im sure they will post it up
