so i just got back from a road trip to az, while on my way to az i was going up hill and the truck jumped quickly twice like i hit something in the road but there wasnt anything in the road, im wondering if anyone with a 062wd ram 1500 has been having any problems with the trans. it happened a couple time while i was driving im not sure if there is something wrong with the trans or if its the cruse or what, i also think it hasnt been going into overdrive sometimes for a while, but when i took it to the dealer they cant duplicate the problem, and my warrenty for bumper to bumper is up in 1000 miles. so i want to get this fixed b4 its up... i guess its not a big deal i have an extended warrenty on it but i dont want to pay the $100 deductable when it comes time for that lol. let me know what you guys think thanks

 

1- Where did you visit in AZ? I grew up in Mesa, have a cabin in Flagstaff, and go to UofA in Tucson

2- Have you checked your transmission fluid level? My roomate's car had many of the symptoms yours did, and we checked his fluid and it was bone dry. Wouldnt hurt to check

 

yeah they just did the recall on the trans cooler filter, the fluid is where its supposed to be at, i checked it out when i got to my grandparents place in suncity. and again b4 i left.
