Default magnaflow cat-back exhaust questions

considering installing a cat back exhaust system on my 07 hemi 4x4 with mds. Is the magnaflow a good cat back system, does it sound good and add a little hp. Is it relatively easy to install without taking it to a muffler shop. I have heard a lot of guys don't like aftermarket sytems with the mds b/c the change in exhaust tone is much more noticeable and annoying. Basically, is the magnaflow a good all around cat back system that sounds good on the hemi

I have the magnaflow on my 03 and I think that it is great! Pretty quiet when just puttin around but when you get on it....it sounds real nice. From what I have seen on hear most people will say that it flows much better than the flowmaster also.

Have had Magna Flow on all three of my Hemi's at one time or another. My lattest truck is an 08 Quad cab 4x4 with dual out the back. Like ray 97 said nice rumble when crusing and beefy when on it. Yes you will here the mds. Very noticable. The note is quite low when crusing in town. You will get used to it. Or just keep overdrive off to keep the drone a little higher in note. The worst part about installation is the removal of sock stuff. And by that I mean rusting of old pipes together. Nothing a little hammer can't fix though. Did my own exhaust in abot 2 hours, with little resistance. All the hangers line up perfect, of course you have to add one hanger for the dual out the back. Hope this helps. As for horsepower do not have actual numbers, just seems to rev much faster in midrange to high rpms.

3" roundbody single in/out through the stock tailpipe here. Love the sound, no complaints at all from me.

Love mine good fitment. Only pain in the *** was getting the old pipe off of the y pipe I had to take the recipacating saw and CAREFULLY cut it length wise not to cut the y pipe. MDS was more noticable but you get use to it.

if i do decide to do it, i want to go with the dual tips exiting before the rear tire. I have always thought those looked sweet. I have always had dual pipes out the back on my other trucks, but i want the tips out one side on this one

Love my Magnaflow exhaust. You can't go wrong with it. Quiet at idle...rips when you get into it.
