This is a multiple part question, guys.

1. Do all 3rd Gen Rams have the mounting area available that the OEM Infinity Amp uses under the dash, regardless if they come with the 7 speaker or 4 speaker system from the factory?

2. Does anyone have the extermal dimensions of the OEM Infinity 7 channel amp?

3. Is the mounting area under the dash a very tight fit for that amp, or is there some extra space available for a slightly larger aftermarket amp?

I'm trying to get some info here, as I'm planning a system upgrade in stages, and want to get an idea of what I can get away with, and do it with as little hands on trial & error crap as I can while I'm doing the actual install.

 

pop your glove box out and take a look, open the glove box, push both sides in, tip it down and lift it off the hinge. the factory amp is fairly small and it's a tight fit.
