ok guys im not big into dodge but i have a buddy that is getting prepped for a 4.7L to 6.1L swap and we need to know what the best trans is to bolt up to it that will work in the trucks. any info is greatly apriciated.

 

get ahold of sharadon performance. They make a beefed up 545rfe that uses diesel clutches. It also has an upgraded valve body.

 

yeah the sharadon stage 3 545rfe is what you want. It can handle a ton of hp/tq and will bolt right up to the 6.1 liter.

Oh yeah, they're only about $2500 if you have a tranny to send them. I think it is about $3500 if you do not.
