Maybe I'm crazy, but I tried opening my front passenger door today not realizing the truck was locked. What I saw was the passenger handle come off the truck, I mean it pulled away from the truck if that makes since. Not the handle itself but the plastic trim around the handle. I tried it again, just barely pulling it and the you can pull the trimaway from the truck. It seems like you could just rip the handle off the truck pretty easily, is this normal? Any fixes? I'm mostly concerned about water getting down in between the door and causing damage, is this possible?[/align]

 

yeah i just last month had to take mine in bc the drivers side handle was sitting funny and there was something loose in there so they repaired it while it was under warrenty... didnt fall off though just came loose

i had a couple dumbass friends of mine pulling the **** out the passenger handle a couple weeks ago, while another was on the inside pulling it closed. i'm surprised it didn't pop off right into their hands. so yea, i'd say mine is probably good.
