Just got 315/70/17 BFG's mounted today and they guy installing my tires wanted me to come and see something. When he shook either of the two front tires there was a lot of play in the upper ball joints.kinda scary looking. Truck only has 7300 miles on it. Looking at the play I would have thought the steering would have felt loose but it doesn't. Truck tracked streight before the tire install and afterwards as well. Driving it there does not seem to be a problem. The only thing i have done to the truck was a leveling kit and allignment about 800 miles ago. Is this normal on the new rams? (07' 1500 4x4) Seems strange that both sides are the same.
Deffinatly taking it to the dealer as soon as I get time. need to get the speakers replaced and the blinker switch as well. They don't always turn off and the speakers rattle and are blown. Never cranked up the volume or drove the truck hard. Oh well! Otherwise like the truck but those ball joints scare me.
