yea rear speakers are pointless if you have subs. I can't hear mine anyway. If anything get two 1" tweeters to put on the dash. It will make verything sound better. OR you can get a better amp to power your subs and run the front and stock rear speakers off your rockford amp. A alpine mrp-m500 will make your subs bump i got one pushing my 12" type r and its freakin loud. there only around $200 but get all your stereo stuff at onlinecarstereo.com , its the cheapest place.

 

Actually I think the original question was about the rears in a reg. cab, so no door panels, window tracks, etc. I am curious about this, too as I have a reg. cab. The grill implies that they are oval, not round, so I wonder what I will find when I get panel'in off.

 

i have a hookup on stereo stuff anyway so its not a big deal, these were just used 1 month and were $30 on craigslist (cheaper then i can get them) so i thought i would consider it. I dont really want to get a bigger amp as this one is pushing the perfect rms to the subs. and its a mono amp so i cant run it to the front and rears. i told the girl im not going to pick them up. if anything i guess the next thing i will consider is a component set and an amp for them but thats down the road. im happy for the time being.
