Driver's Seat Cushion GONE
Just purchased 2006 2500 Mega with 56,000 miles on it. The driver's seat has no padding in the base. Completely uncomfortable. Two solid points are pushing on my cheeks and causing all kinds of discomfort. A local upholstry guy quoted $90 to solve the issue. Anyone else have an issue of this nature?
You don't even know how much it will thank me. I'm just lookin' for anyone else that might have had the issue. Just want to see if his solution matches up with others. I can be a bit of a tough customer.

Pay the 90 bones... Your *** will thank you for it.

let me know what the local auto upholstery shop does for $90....I've got a brand new mega cab and the right side of the seat bugs me to death. no big butt, but am a big guy....stock foam is waaaaaay too light in these seats. am wondering how to fix, but fix right without breaking the bank.
I hear that when they chenged the seats in the 06-08's they were crappy. I remember when my 03 ram was brand new, the seat foamwas really firm, and now they are just broken in 111,200 miles later. Yeah, I'd say that $90 is a good price.
The best seat I ever had was the ones in my '97 Sport. Those seats were awesome. I wonder if I could get a good set of those? HMmmm.

I heard the same thing from my friend that sells these trucks. He said they went from some of the worst seats on any truck to the best seats. My truck came with the Premium Bench Seat with YES Essentials cloth, and I have no complaints on them.

Lol, no those were his words, and I'm sure there was some exaggeration in there, after all he is a Dodge salseman. He told me that the old seats were horrible, and the newer ones have been improved a lot. I do agree that they are some of the most comfortable I've sat on in a pickup. In your case, I don't think $90 is bad to have your seats redone.
