had my truck at the dealer today for new fog lights & 7 pin trailer wiring ! all went well till the tech layed the 7 way plug on the back bumper then opened the tailgate ! nice ding in the tailgate now [sm=bustedsign.gif]. just glad i was there to see them do it now they have to fix it !most dealers are honest but you never know [sm=americanasmiley.gif]

 

am i the only 1 that looks out for my ride ? if you do notkeep a eye on[sm=deal.gif]them then you drive off the lot YOU ARE DONE ! did not happen here ! anytime you go for service take the tech out and note any ding's then do the same when you pick it up ! photo's are a BIG +++

 

When I had my old Dakota, I took it into Sears to have a new battery installed. The one I went to had a huge window overlooking the garage. I watched them the whole time, and everything was fine, until they backed my truck out, and another technician backed out another car - right into each other. I ran out onto the floor and all the technicians could do was stare at the damage. The whole drivers side rear panel had to be replaced, and they paid for every penny of it, including giving me a rental car for the 2 weeks it was being fixed. Bad feeling to see your baby damaged, even worse when you can see it about to happen and there's nothing you can do.

 

so true nobody will admit guilt if you don't see it happen ! must have been done in the parkinkg lot after we moved it out ![:@]
