Default Miss firing / sputtering

I have a '04 Ram 1500 5.7 HEMI and resently moved from Phoenix to Georgia. During the tripI ran out of gaspulling a trailer.Once i refueled thecheck engine light came on and itbegan to sputter or miss fire. I've added fuel enjector cleaners with no success andI'm hoping someone has a suggestion for me.

Thanks

Hop.

you have a spark plug in 1 or more cylinderthat has a gap of 0 or a little bit bigger than that. Go get the DTC checked out and see what the last 2 numbers are, the first 2 should be 04.... meaning misfire in cylinder ___ (what ever the last 2 numbers are) ie: 0406 = misfire in cylinder 6.
I have had this happen twice now. on saturday i changed it out (smashed spark plug)
hope this helps

how does running out of gas close the gap on the plugs?
