Default 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Brakes

I need some help please. I took off the entire caliper bracket off (13/16) bolts. But I don't know how to get the pads out? Should I have left the caliper bracket on and removed the bolts that hold in the pins? Any pictures that can help would be great.

I haven't done the brakes on my Dodge yet, but you usually have to remove the caliper from the braket to get the pads out.

First of all i left the big bracket on, the one with the 13/16" bolt the front calipers come off with a 13mm and the rear calipers come off with a 10mm. I have a haynes manual.. You take the caliper off from the bottom with a big screw driver and install in teh reverse. All you have to do is tap the pads out one from the back and the other comes out the front. But you dohave to seperate the caliper and the brakcet that the caliper mounts too.. hope this helps.. ~stephen
