Just received a snail-mail notice from DTC (Discount Tire Company) in reference to defective valve stems that DTC installed on somecustomer vehicles. The stems were manufactured by Dill Air Controls (Dill), an industry-leading supplier of valve stems for tires and they indicated the stems are cracking prematurely. I just went and inspected my stemsvery closely and YES they are cracking! Discount WILL replace them for no charge if you purchased them from DTC.
