wheelbearing?

so i took the front diverside wheel off my truck to find out whats squeeking and i noticed its extremely hard to turn, is that normal or should i think that my wheel bearing may be bad, cuaseing the noise? it doesnt make the noise when i do actually spin it tho

They will be a little hard to turn, especially if you have 4wd since you are still turning part of the driveline (up to the transfer case), but you should be able to turn it by hand as long as it's not in 4wd. Try the passanger side off and compare it. Are you sure your brakes are not rubbing?

i thought that, but it doesnt make any noises after a certain speed, yeah i gotta get a different tire iron cuase one of the lugnuts is dented up in order to get the passenger side off, also, is there any other way to get the spare tire off without using that rod to lower it down becuase its so rusted it looks like it was painted on so i wanna take it off and hurculine it
