I've got a 5.7L hemi Daytona and I'm trying to find speaker sizes and infofor my truck. It's the quad cab version and i'm unsure of how many speakers it even has. I know it has 2 sets of door speakers but i'm not sure if it has speakers in the dash. Can anybody help? sizes would be appreciated as I am looking to upgrade everything.

 

The speakers in your front door are 6X9's the ones in the back are 5.25 speakers. To be honest leave the ones in the dash alone they are just tweeters and they are pretty good. The best upgrade IMO is Rockferfosgate (pretty sure I butchered the spelling). They can handle a lot of abuse and you can get the slim speakers which is a much better fit than regular speakers which will push your door pannel out just a little bit and make a very tight squeeze. If you want some really good sound make sure you get a 4 channel amp to push the speakers because no matter how high you turn it up you wont be happy till you can feel some of the bass. i agree about the ones in the dash how ever i just replaced my door speakers last night with pioneer all the way around, 6x9s front and 6.5s rear they sound great...the ones in the front fit perfect, the back needed alittle playing with to get to fit right but they did with out any added stuff to get

 

What is the infinity system consist of .Mine has it.

 

infinty system means your screwed. You can't just put in new front door speakers. You'll have to for sure get a new 4 channel amp.

i might disagree. think speakers should work with stock amp.
was told same about head unit, will confirm if true/false this week.

 

trust me. been there done that. The stock amp only put out a little power and only low frequencies to the stock 6x9's. hook up aftermarket speakers and turn them on. all youll hear is crappy bass. ill post what ive got.

 

since i can't post long messages. ive got:
crappy sony headunit(needs to be replaced), alpine mrp-m500 amp, kicker zx750.5 amp, alpine type r 12" sub and 6x9's, crappy sony rear speaker (need to be replaced).
i am getting alpine head unit, alpine tweeters, alpine 5 3/4's. maybe a second 12" type r and mrp-m500 amp.
