cut out old exhaust
pull it out of the way and out from under the truck
get new pipe and a pipe bender
measure the angles then bend them
mock up the pipe to make sure it will fit
weld or clamp pipes together
put them in
and go

lol alot more work than that but you get the idea

i know i was just telling him if you run true duals your check engine light is gonna be on for emissions

if you run fron the converter back and get a Y pipe you should be good and have muffler tips or a muffler with 1 to 2

You could always cut just in front of the cats (eliminating the cats but leaving the front O2 sensors) then run you pipes anywhere you want to. Doing the non-fouler trick (search the DIY section for it) so you won't get any CELs...

Although if you take off the exhaust manifolds and went with LT headers, they'd have the bungs for the front sensors and pretty much run your pipes from the collectors back (again do the non-fouler trick) this would be REALLY SWEET...

Good luck finding a LT header for a 3rd gen 4.7, i've searched for nights and days, no-one makes them because of our cat locations
