Default MDS at Idle

Why doesnt MDS work at idle. Dealership told me it would prior to purchase. I did the LED light mod and it doesnt. Any way to modify for idle? I do alot of idling for a part time job.

Is there a reason you have to idle? Could you just shut it off? Here in Massachusetts, it's illegal to idle an engine longer than 5 minutes.

Interesting I thought it did kick in at idle traffic lights and so on. Actually, what the dealer said is correct it does work (prior to purchase ) I don't let my chariots idle much at all, (0 mpg at idle an' all that).

Wow it worked...amazing. MDS would make the idle too rough...hell people complain about the idle as is.

Idle is smooth enough. I work as a Police officer in construction zones at night, sometimes 8-12 hours at a time. Down in Texas its too hot some nights to turn it off for very long. I do have LED warning lights so the battery isnt a problem, just need a/c. I was hoping for the 4 cyls. at idle to save on the fuel. I traded off my diesel as it was burning a 1/4 tank per night.
