Default Wheel/Tire opinions and questions

I'm looking at ordering these wheel and tires from Discount Tire and was wondering if anyone had any opinions on them and I had a few questions. The total with everything is $1,164.

Wheels - http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...amp;vid=008627

Tires - http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...8627&ar=70

- The wheels are 17x8.5. When I look at other websites they only bring up 17x8 for a 2005. Is the 8.5 opposed to the 8 going to cause any problems?

- When I bought my 2005 Quad Cab it came with 245's and I planned on going up to 285's. These that I'm looking at are only 265's but they are $60 less each then the 285's and it would be really nice to save that money. Do you guys think that when I toss them on I'm going to stand there and wish that they were just a little bit bigger? But $240 bigger?

- Has anyone had problems with Discount Tire?

Thanks much!

Those wheels look really nice...if it was me I would go up to a 20" or at least an 18". I always go to discount tire though. They have free tire repair and I havent ever had any problems with them. I woulddefinately buy them through them.

If you plan on doing any off roading stay with the 17's.

I had the Terra Grapplers for about 10,000 miles and that included one Hunting season and one winter! They handled really good in the mud and snow! I would say yes to the tires and wheels! If you never go off road then go with the 20's. Other wise stay with the 17's
