Default tire wear...

ok, i was going to buy a new set of rims.. they are 20x8.5... they guy on the phone said that if i got the size tires i want. 305/50/r20 that the rim is kind of small and they tires may not wear evenly.... anybody know if this is true? the rims dont come any wider then that.. thanks

I don't believe that ifthe proper tires are on that wheel, you'd get excessive wear.

thats what i figured but i wanted to make sure lol.. i guess if i get that ill have to stick with the 275/55/r20's
