Just wanted to know what you all thought about fuel injection cleaners? Worth it or waste of money? and what brand do you recommend? I have a 2008 5.7L hemi 4x4.

Well, the forum is blocking intelligent responses again. I use Seafoam about once a year. Follow the directions. It seems to work well.

Let your truck, car, whatever, inhale 1/3 of a can through the brake booster line, 1/3 into the crankcase just before you drain it,

then treat a tank of gas with it. I forget the ratio, but it's on the can. It works well, but probably only needs to be done yearly.

I remember reading that modern gas contains an effective detergent so injector cleaner is not required...

Believe it or not...TC-W3 2 stroke oil works great when used 1 oz per 5 gallons of gas or 1:500 ratio. TC-W3 is ashless and burns completelyso it won't hurt your cats or o2's.

lucas fuel injector cleaner is suppose to be pretty good stuff. havent used it myself

I usually put a bottle of Lucas in about twice a year, which is basically about every 3000 miles on the truck...
