So has anyone installed the Mopar offering for standard audio improvment in the non-Infinity Ram: the Kicker 200W 10" SQUARE SUB WITH AMP (P/N 77KICK17) that mounts under the rear seat in the Quad Cab??

If so, how easy was the install and was the sound upgrade worth the heafty price for the kit??

Out of curiosity how much does it cost or do you have a link for where to get one?

The prices I've seen for just the sub alone are around $550.

Check eBay, there is even a set-up on there that includeds the sub and the upgraded front speakers (both sold by Mopar) for $599.

I ended up getting both the Mopar "77KICK17" Kicker rear subwoofer & the Mopar "77KICK06" Kicker front door speakers. An online dealer had a really good deal for the set-up w/ free shipping plus the $25 Mopar Accessory Rebate, so I couldn't pass it up.

The install was pretty clean and straight forward. I think the wiring could've been a bit more integrated for the rear sub, but overall its OK I suppose. The door speakers were plug 'n play.

As for the sound, the front speakers are a big improvment over the factory speakers. The rear sub really kicks too, a bit more than I'd personally like ... but not a problem, I just turned the bass down.

This looks like a great setup. I spent way tooo much on my last Ford for a custom sound system (w/ installation $2500)--sounded great, but not willing to pay that much again. So, for something like this that is 1/5th the price--I think I will need to search that out.
