from my experience your going to have to replace them, my durango had a similar problem where it was holding first gear to long and was hard shifting, this was before the superchips programmer was installed. i took mine to the local trans shop to have them replace the solenoid. i did not have a trans control problem. good luck with your repairs, hope this help.

Thanks thats kind of what I thought. The trans fluid is old so I was going to have it draind and flushed out just to make sure thats not all it is. The truck has almost 60,000 now and I bought it with 36,000 so I dont think it has ever ben done like the dealership says. Thanks again for the reply.

So the flush didnt make anything better I guess I have to eat it and take it in. Anyone know of a good shop around Ventura in S Cali. that I should take it to?

Well looks to me that the truck is all fixed. I took it in to Dodge and the Valve Train in the trans. went bad so they fixed it under warranty only cost 100 bucks.

Again all fixed. I didnt have it all weekend but I picked it up yesterday and drove it like a red headed step child for the first 20 miles and it didnt give me any lip. nice to have it back. All the problems were caused by the computer so they replaced it. Thanks again for everyone who wrote.
