Default What is it?
After being rear ended recently I was investigating damage under my truck. Behind the rear bumper near the frame where the tow hitch is there is a cylinder that seems to spin. Can't figure out what it is

Do you have your spare tire under the truck? Could be the lowering mechanism for the spare. Maybe take a pic for us?
