I use my ash tray for change. and I had it abit too full and some fell in behind it and now it wont shut. I cant find out how the whole thing comes out.

 

I actually think you need to remove the trim pannel on the dash... it isn't too hard, just pops out.

 

the whole frame around it comes out...with the ashtray open...reach in and hold the top of the frame of the ashtray(not the ashtray itself) and pull out...it snaps out/snaps it..no need to pull the the whole trim panel off, that's also easy to do
