Hello Boss,
Does anyone out there know if the transfer case on a 2004 ram 1500 w/HEMI is interchangeable? I have a NV244D and would like to swap it for a NP243 part time transfer case. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Steven

If the mounting pattern, input splines and depth are the same yes, more than likely the mounting patterns are the same as it is a new ventures case (They generally use the circle pattern)
Info:
NV244D: 23 spline input, 3 rear output slip w/o speedo hole, cut front output yoke .840 exposed input, electric shift
NP243: 23 spline input, 32 rear slip, slip front output w/o shift indicator switch, electric shift .840 exposed input
They will bolt up, but there may be differences with the front output

Could the swap be possible with a different driveline and possible the transfer case module? I found the same info about the differences of the transfer cases online but I cannot get a definitve answer from anyone about a swap. Thanks for the info
