Ok so I went to Autozone and had my trouble code read and it show low oil pressure. The truck has 7000 miles on it and I did my oil change 8 days ago. I know that Rams are known to have oil pressure sending units go bad but is there anything else I should do before the big stuff?

 

Well it's a little early in the game for sludge to be an issue and I've not really heard of sending units going out that soon. But why worry about it, with an '07 you should have been to the dealer with it before you even went to Autozone...

 

Yeah but my problem with the dealer at least our dealer is that they are having problems with their techs changing settings. And I know that shouldn't be a big deal but the last time the guy changed all 3 mirrors, my tilt steering, my icline and seat position all so he would be comfortable enough to drive it all of 10 feet from the garage to the back lot. And that drives me nuts. So I do as much as I can on my own. Plus I changed my own oil last week so if it's something minor like a loose oil filter I don't want to go through the trouble.
