they are right...if you really want sound get a cherry bomb glass pack...but i was the same as you with the american thunder series so i just got a flowmaster super 44 and its pretty loud. i was on the far side of the house (inside) and heard the windows rattle when my dad started it up to move it. its not the loudest ive heard by far...but it has a good, deep throaty tone

I am interested in getting myself a Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust. Can you tell me anything about your experience in having one? Do you have any sound clips/pictures?

Thanks

True, a cutout will give you that deafening loud sound that you may want as well. Nothing louder than straight pipes.... They have their ups and downs though.

add another notch to cherry bombs belt, i got an extreme and had a flowmaster super44 before. the cherry bomb is loud as hell. i had it comin out at the tips, but bent one of the tips wheelin so i dumped now over the axle and its still loud as hell. its awesome when i start it up in a parkin lot with cars next to me cause it sets off alarms. mind you its 4.7 and ive heard that they sound meaner than the hemi

I kind of like the stock water-heater looking mini burn-barrels that come stock...

...but if it's an aggressively loud alpha-dog kind of growl you're after, I'd suggest the AT3030.
