Default lowering problem

I just had my 05 ram lowered with a mcgaughy's 2/4 deluxe drop kit with the spindles and new eibach nitro 2 drop shocks and in the rear its a flip kit with the air assist kit.. the problem is when im on the freeway and i hit a bump my tires rub...even in the rear with 50psi in the bags ..is there a cure for this without changing the height of the truck.? would heavy duty shocks do the trick?

I love lowered trucks but you can't have more than just a few inches of rear suspension travel between the rear axle and the bump stops. That's just not enough suspension for 6000lbs traveling at hwy speeds. You can notch the frame which is expensive or you can raise the rear. Honestly, you look a little lower in the rear than in the front. You could raise the rear and get a more aggressive stance and solve your problem.

That's going to make for a very rough ride, though.

Where do the tires rub? If it's the fender, maybe the fender lip needs a little re-working to clear.

If it's UNDER the fender, you may need a different backspacing on the wheels to get the tires in the right place so they won't rub.
