Both overpriced IMO...but the K&N is the better of the two. The Volant doesn't replace the restrictive silencer...just the stock airbox which doesn't flow too bad.

just a money grab
from people who don't measure

for that amount of money you can do several mods
that really work
both to improve acceleration
and to improve fuel economy

the saying
"There's a Sucker Born every Minute"
has stayed around for more than 150 years for a reason

Where once there was only KN
selling oiled hospital cotton gauze filters
only for use by weekend SCCA racers
the CAI sellers have ballooned out to more than 30 makers
because it is so highly profitable
and the customers so clueless

Even original owners Ken Johnson and Norm McDonald
have 'cashed out' of the business and laugh at what it has become

Interesting, myself I assumed it would give me a little extra punch but not as much as they say. I would like to get the most out of my Ram over time so im lookin into all the options.

You say you can do several mods that really work, what would those be?
