I have a 2006 dodge ram van with overdrive auto trans.. It all of the sudden won't go into park. the shift lever goes in to the park position but only shows reverse on the indicator, and if yu take your foot off the brake it sounds like clicking and it will coast. PLEASE HELP

 

know this is an old post but would like to have some input--my 89 b250 does the same--will trade w/boot for yer 06 though if it's a conversion and in good shape
