What can I do to get some better mpg out of my Ram. And does new exhaust usually increase or decrease mpg. Thanks for help!

 

Hey Joe (for the Hendrix fans). What motor do you have and what mods. What mileage are you currently getting and what kind of driving....

Why is this such a pet peeve for me. It's a truck, it's a big truck. It ain't ever gonna get good gas mileage. The problem is that any mod you purchase to give you an extra half mpg at most, will cost so much that it'll take 50,000 miles (at least) in saving that .5 mpg to pay for the mod...
Really, the best thing you can do is keep it tuned up, keep the tires above 80% of their rated capacity and don't drive with a heavy foot...

 

5.7 hemi quad cab no mods about 15 to 17 mpg and easy driving most of the time unless im showin off.
