Default Biggest tire on 20" rims with no lift

I have an 05 Ram quad cab 4x4 with 20" tires and need to know the largest size tire that will fit with out a lift and with out rub. I know there is a thread on this but it deals more with 17inch tires. Just wanted to know if anyone had any input on this. Oh, and I am not real big on the cranking the torsion bars, I don't think. Give me your input. Thanks.

you're talking about 20" wheels, not tires. you have 33" tires stock. you can't really go any bigger. i'm hearing 34" rub a bit. if you crank the torsion bars 34 will fit no problem, and 35 will fit with just a bit of rubbing when you turn all the way.

33x12.5's on your torsion bar truck with stock rims with no problem, I've heard that the 12.5" width is an issue on the '06+ coil overs on the stock rim though, they need a wheel with a little more back spacing.

I have a 2wd and have 305/50/20's all around, the fronts only rub at extreme lock, so you'd be good with the 4x4 height.

I have 35x12.5x20 Pro Comp Xterrains on my truck. I leveled it by cranking the t-bars and have absolutely no rubbing at all, even at full lock. The only rubbing i had with tires that wide is where the inner fender liners in the back have the part on them where they come out about an inch, i just had to trim that part.

Johnnymagnum, That looks really good, the look I am going for. Have you come across a link with pictures on what exactly to do? Also, did you notice as some people say a much stiffer ride? Also, did you get it realigned after you did it?
