SOME 2006 trucks have been SCT tuned... not cheap but it is a 100% custom tune for your specific vehicle.

Also SCT has lowered their price.

The SCT is a great tuner if you need a custom tune for a highly modded truck. Also an immediate way to get one for your '06. Superchips has recently added a bunch of Dodge engines to their 3815 tuner, and the 4.7 is among them, but only up to '03 right now. They are working on tunes for the rest, but are back-filling starting with the '08s until they get to the '04s. So the whole lineup will eventually be supported with their "canned tunes". It just might be a couple of months before they get back to the '06s...

Just talked to them about a week ago, and the lady told me they were working on a chip and to check back with them in a few weeks (about 2 more to go).

A chip or a programmer? I am looking to do new cams and so a chip would be very superfluous. I need a programmer for my 05 4.7.
