Exclamation 04 ram upgrades

what do you guys reccomend as far as a programmer, real mixed on what to get, hypertech or superchips, any advice as what to get?!

wow, that's loud.

welcome to DF! most people round here end up with SC and are very happy with it. It was great while I had mine. I couldn't tell about a HP increase (butt dyno not calibrated enough) but the throttle response and quick shifts made a big difference. Also, you can easily find the SC used and save $100-$150 over the hypertech.

The best part was the transmission opreration - fixed all the low speed issues I was having!! Throttle reponse is 100% better....

I've read dozens and dozens of posts across the forums I'm on where Hypertechs were returned because of complaints of un-feelable gains.
I've only read a handful like that regarding the Superchips.

What motor do you have? Superchips skips certain year 4.7's.

Superchips all the way. I have one on my 04 and it makes a nice improvement over stock. Had a hypertech on my old ram and it stunk, I couldn't wait to get rid of it.
