Can't find front right brake hose
My friend has a 2004 Ram 1500. it is 4wd and has 4 wheel ABS. The front right brake hose is ruptured and we can not find it anywhere. No parts store can order it, and the dealership wants $478 for it. The guy at the dealership said that was probably a typo since all the other brake hoses for similar years were about $47. However, they can't fix it and have to charge what the computer says it is. That sounded like a load of bull to me, I don't really like those guys at all. They've tried to extort me for jeep parts in the past.
Anyway, can someone here please help us locate this brake hose?

the part ran from 2002 - 2004 when dodge changed it again. The only one that any auto parts store can order is not compatible with the 4 wheel ABS truck, which is the one we need. The 4 wheel ABS hose is available for the other part years, but not for this one. On top of that, no one in town will even make the hose for us.

both dealerships in the Ft. Sill, OK area quoted $430 - $470. The reason they're saying is that when you order this hose you also have to order the line that runs up to the master cylinder. Apparently you can't order just the hose.
