Cool tires

Hi I'm new to this. I have a 2006 dodge ram 4x4 and i have seen most 2006 rams to have 265/75/17 tires on them but my truck has 245/75/17 and was looking to change them to 265. is there any body out there with the same as me. just wondering lucky55

you can go bigger than that if you want. you can actually fit a 34" in there with no leveling. leveled and you can get in a 35"!

Just watch the upper A-arms for clearance, especially with the stock rims that don't offer the backspacing most aftermarket wheels have. The older torsion bar front ends (02-05s) don't seem to have an issue with wider tires on stock rims, but the newer coil over 4x4s seem to have a good bit less clearance. You could go 33x11.5 with no problem, maybe even 34x11.5, but you start getting into the 12.5" wides, you need to consider a wheel upgrade to something with like 4.5" of backspacing...

My dads truck has 245's on it and they are too small! Luckily its time for some new ones so some 265's will be going on.
