I had to drive a loooong way with a tarp that rubbed the truckbed pretty bad, can this be buffed out some how?

 

Take it by a local body shop and ask if it can be buffed out. It looks deep.

 

i'd be surprised if tarp went through more than clearcoat. you should be able to buff that out with a good rubbing compound and lots of elbow grease

 

yeah it only went down to the clearcoat, any products someone could recommend that I could use?

 

really any decent rubbing compound followed by buffing/polishing compound will do it. if your local storehas 3m stuff, use them. otherwise i know most stores carry turtle wax stuff. i'm not a huge fan of the stuff, but it does work.

 

by hand aint gonna do it... take it to a detailer so they can use a good polish with a rotary to get the paint level again.
