my next mod is going to be gears but after that i think im done with mods and have considered a lift . since they can only make a 6 " lift kit for half tons , what seems to be the best kit? on top of that , what would be a reasonable quote for parts and labor on just the lift + installation? and i have 20 x 9 rims, what is a good size tire for this rim with no rub/ problems? ?

Good selection of lift kits for torsion bar front end trucks.
Although there are a lot that say they are 6" only one (to my knowledge) actually measures a true 6" and of course it's among the most expensive. Skyjacker and it's the only torsion bar kit that will fit 37s without trimming (but I'd not put 37s on an IFS truck anyway) so for 35s you could get anyone's kit that is 4" or greater.
Fabtech's is among the most popular because they've got a reputation for "bargain" lifts, but their quality seems as good as anybodies. A lot of people have the Pro Comp which is a good kit too. I have the Rancho, great kit, but it's a 4" kit.
A good 6" suspension kit is gonna run you minimum $1500 and if you can't install it yourself you are probably looking at about $750-1000 for install as it's a good 8 hr. job.
For a good selection of kits look at 4 Wheel Parts or Performance Lifts, do a Google search for the links...
