three times this happened already...the bolt that connects the front shock absorber to the lower control arm snapped clean in half, twice on one side and once on the other. The design of them alone is terrible. its a 03 1500, im sure theres a bunch of different arms between models and years. anyway, the bolt just threads right into the front on the control arm, so all of the shock and weight is absorbed by that one end of the bolt in the control arm.

Is there anybody who makes an aftermarket control arm that has a different setup? Instead of the bolt just threading to the front of the arm, it should have metal on both sides of the base of the shock to absorb that shock on two sides of the bolt instead of one.
